This piece is a revisit of the first likeness I ever attempted back in 2017, when I was just starting out in 3D. Coming back to it now felt like a nice way to reflect on how much has changed over the years and how much I’ve learned along the way. I’ve been really lucky with the career I’ve had so far and the projects I’ve been able to work on.
It was also my first proper attempt at a hair groom in Houdini. There’s definitely a lot more to learn and improve, but I’m relatively happy with the result and it’s been a good learning experience overall.
